From the Opening Night Preview Party to Meet the Artist events to ArtSpot Miami’s 5th Anniversary VIP Party, there’s something for the serious collector, glitterati, and the partier at Spectrum Miami. Here are five experiences you won’t want to miss.
1. Opening Night Preview Party
Be one of the first to check out the latest paintings, photography, sculpture, glassworks, and more from 6 to 10 p.m. at Wednesday’s Opening Night Preview Party. Sip a glass of Louis Jadot wine, indulge in tasty hors d’oeuvres, and enjoy an exclusive look at the array of art while mingling with the artists and fellow attendees. Plus, you’ll get first dibs on which pieces of world-class art you want to take home with you. Exhibitors will be offering everything from a rare original Fernando Botero, offered from a private collection for the first time, to works from Banksy, Wesselmann, Mr. Brainwash, Chihuly, Warhol, Dali, Picasso, Chagall, Durer, Lichtenstein, and more.
2. Art Labs
Spectrum Miami features Art Labs, specially curated programming that provides a dynamic experience for attendees and allows them to interact with site-specific works by top international artists. Watch art come alive during Art Fusion as Life Is Art’s artists create their next masterpiece right in front of your eyes, and experience Sarah Stieber’s visual language in Rainbow Ribbon Magic, which spans artistic mediums in recognition of sisterhood and creative empowerment and reflects the colorful, energetic, and vibrant culture of women everywhere.
3. Meet the Artist Events and Live Demonstrations
At Spectrum Miami Miami, you can get up close and personal with the artistic process. Attendees get the rare opportunity to talk with exhibiting artists and see them create works live during Meet the Artist events and live art demonstrations.
