Jordan Matter at SPECTRUM MIami

Jordan Matter, Dancers Among Us

We are thrilled to report that SPECTRUM Miami 2014, with ArtSpot International Art Fair, was our best Miami show yet! Held December 3-7 during Miami’s wildly popular Art Week, this year’s show hosted more than 130 exceptional galleries from across the US and around the world. Their colorful art filled the aisles in our airy, spacious, 60,000 square foot tent, and 26,000 attendees (up from 16,000 last year) thronged the aisles.

Aldo Castillo’s Art Talks were extremely well received, as were our new Late Night parties, sponsored by extraordinary institutions like Life Is Art, Yo Miami, Bakehouse Art Complex and Cirque du Soleil.

Speaking of Cirque, did you happen to catch the breath-taking performance art and hand-balancing by Cirque du Soleil’s “Amaluna” performers? If not, we have some photos for you to enjoy! We also captured some serious instagram moments with local dancers during a live photoshoot with international bookseller and world-renowned photographer Jordan Matter.

Success Stories
Our favorite thing, post-show, is hearing about our exhibitors’ success! Here are a few letters we’ve received in the last few days:

My thanks to you and your colleagues at Spectrum, especially Rosanna and Steve, for making our experience so successful. We practically sold out all of the sculpture and this was due in large part to the venue, the high quality of the collectors who came through and last but not least, to your superb staff.

I wanted to thank you once again for your complete support and professionalism. The show was a total success and a wonderful experience thanks to you! At one point we had more than a hundred people trying to take photos. It was crazy! I look forward to our next excellent adventure and wish all of you a wonderful Holiday Season and New Year.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without our talented exhibitors, our enthusiastic attendees and our very generous sponsors and volunteers. Thank you for your participation!

We look forward to hosting you again next year.
